About SinnoBoK

SinnoBok will help close this gap between the existing state of the art in software engineering and innovation management. To address this gap, an initial survey was done with Finish a Belgian ITEI partners to identify the practices and challenges they encounter with respect to their software innovation. This led to the derivation of a set of practice areas a company will have to master in order to be successful in delivering software innovation. This set is made of nine fundamental practice areas that improve success of innovation for software intensive companies. These were revealed by processing the data and feedback collected from the ITEA2 project ITEI (Information Technologies supporting the Execution of Innovation Projects), involving 29 partners from Finland, Belgium and Spain. The research was done as a series of case studies and workshops involving all project partners.
