Nick Boucart works as a technology advisor for the software engineering group of Sirris, the collective center for the Belgian technology industry. The Software Engineering group focuses on the challenges faced by Belgian software intensive product builders. The group conducts industry driven research around those challenges and actively participates in different (international) research projects on topics like flexible software development, managing product variability and software innovation. Olivier Biot is a technology advisor for Software Engineering and ICT at Sirris, the collective centre of the Belgian technology industry. He graduated from the University of Ghent in 1999 with a masters in telecommunications engineering. He has been involved in the early days of the mobile Internet in defining new carrier-grade products and in technology standardization. His broad technology interest often brings him in contact with very diverse contexts in which software engineering and ICT play a different role. Specific interest areas include the potential offered by Web 2.0 technologies, collaboration in a ‘virtual enterprisé and the role of innovation in an organization. |
